Irony's Favourite Recipes

Once upon a time, long, long ago in a faraway land, a spaceship landed on Earth.

Its occupants were on the run from the interstellar mafia and looking for a place to lie low for a little while. What they got was this grubby, misogynistic little steel-age world where the beer's always warm, there are too many eels, and peoples' idea of fun is watching guys in metal exoskeletons hit each other with sticks.

You take what you can get.

The story starts here. get_medieval ran from September 2004 to January 2008, and is now re-running with commentary, a la Queen of Wands. I also draw two other webcomics: Knowledge is Power and Dumnestor's Heroes.

WARNING: get_medieval contains cussing, cartoon violence, bare boobs, Star Trek phsyics, religious discussion, bent history, and other things various people may find offensive.

Story and art by ironychan, even though traffic_cone draws better than I do. Updated at roughly 8:30 AM (give or take) Mountain Standard Time. I also draw extd_grb_injoke, but nobody reads that one.

Book I : Book II : Book II

You can also buy stuff featuring the Sir Gerard on the Moon strip, which seems to be weirdly popular.

And get_medieval Christmas cards, featuring medieval carols and medieval babes: Eleanor; Celeste; Iroth; Neithe

As well as a nice, non-denominational 'Holiday Card' with the Black Prince

Individual comics are for sale either directly from me or on Ebay. If you want one, email me: from me, they're $30. On Ebay, they start at $10 but I have no say how they're bid up. Pick yer poison. My address is igallica at hotmail dot com.
